A wakesurf rope is a different animal from a wakeboard rope. It’s shorter (so the rider stays in the wave’s pocket), it doesn’t need to handle the load of a full edge cut, and a T-bar handle is far easier to grab and toss than a standard wide handle.

Any boat running wakesurf sets without a dedicated surf rope. (If you’re trying to wakesurf with your wakeboard rope, that’s the first upgrade you need.)
